NEW EX 0.7X Wide Angle Converter for Sony HVR-Z1U/FX1

16x9 Inc. expands their EX collection of premiere HD-quality lens accessories with the EX 0.7X Wide Converter. Designed to enhance the performance of today's popular compact HD cameras, the EX 0.7X adds a full 30% wider angle of view, while maintaining exceptional image quality.

Improved Features
A refined and updated version of the 16x9 Inc. 0.7X Wide Angle Converter, the new EX 0.7X is both 25% lighter, and 20% shorter from the first generation 0.7X. The lesser weight and more compact size make it the ideal tool for handheld work — contributing to a reduced load and helping to better balance the camera on the operator's shoulder. What's more, this unit performs with 30% better wide corner MTF and 50% better tele MTF. As a result, operators will enjoy images with sharper contrast, better resolution, and less color aberrations.

Full zoom-thru
16x9 Inc.'s EX 0.7X threads neatly and quickly to the front of the camera lens. Once installed, it widens the focal range from XXmm to XXmm at full wide. The lens retains full zoom capability and there is no light loss or vignetting.

Fits Most Cameras
Outfitted with a standard 72mm screw-in rear thread, the unit interfaces beautifully with many of today's popular compact HD cameras.

Professional Shading & Light Control
For professional shading and light control, operators can add 16x9 Inc.'s HU-104 Rubber Lens Shade. Attaching firmly to the front of the converter through a handy quick-lock mechanism, this rugged, broadcast-style shade is designed to hold a 105mm round filter. In addition, the EX 0.7X is fully compatible with popular mattebox systems such as those from Chrosziel.
