Are you thinking of possibly buying an Easyrig?
Then there are a few things that are good to know before you make your purchase. Over the years we have seen all manner of fake Easyrigs, and although Easyrig is a patented and trademarked brand, many still make their way onto the market from China and India.

While exploring camera support solutions, many people will inevitably come across cheap knock-offs. It may be tempting to justify saving a few hundred dollars for a copycat product that advertises itself "as good as the real thing".
As user Greg Latham explains in his video below, these fakes often come with a different type of cost.

Check out this video, where a user shares his review after owning a knockoff for a year.
We'll save you 10 minutes... HE DOES NOT RECOMMEND IT!
Just look at some of the comments from other people who share their own nightmare experiences with fake ownership.

Seems like the verdict is in.
The Easyrig team even did their own investigation into the fake systems.
They purchased a unit called “Easyrig 8-18 kg”, made in China to test and see how the product operates, this was their conclusion:
Sound familiar? Their findings are eerily familiar to so many of the testimonies from knock-off users.
If you want to make sure you're supporting the inventor, make sure you look for these indicators of an authentic Easyrig.
