16x9 Inc. Introduces the Puppeteer by Flowcine

(VALENCIA, California, February 23rd, 2015) — 16x9 Inc., a leading distributor and producer of high-end accessories for film and video production, today announced the new Flowcine Puppeteer single-axis gimbal accessory made for use with the EasyRig Cinema 3 or EasyRig Gimbal Rig is available for general distribution. Flowcine’s Puppeteer dual-axis system will be demonstrated at NAB and will be available early May 2015.

The Puppeteer was designed to work hand in hand with popular gimbals like the DJI Ronin and the FreeFly MoVI* M5, M10 and others by offering multiple mounting solutions. The top handle grips are made for 25mm and 30mm tubes (with the included adaptor rings – 22mm coming soon). The Puppeteer improves the flexibility and the free flowing movement of the gimbal when used with the EasyRig. By combining the EasyRig, the Flowcine Serene Y-axis stabilizer and the Flowcine Puppeteer, camera operators have an affordable solution to achieving complex moving shots without the use of overly expensive motorized equipment.

The Puppeteer’s single axis controls the pitch of the camera while the dual axis controls both the pitch and roll. The Puppeteer single axis system is future proof and can be upgraded to a dual axis system when the additional equipment is available in May.

the Flowcine single-axis Puppeteer MSRP is only $920.00. The Flowcine dual-axis Puppeteer (MSRP $1,665.00) will be available in May 2015. The dual-axis upgrade kit to for single-axis units will also be available in May. Puppeteer handle and top handle grips are sold separately.
