16x9 Inc. Introduces the Serene by Flowcine

(VALENCIA, Calif, August 15th, 2014) — 16x9 Inc., a leading distributor and producer of high-end accessories for film and video production, today introduced the new Serene two axis spring arm from Flowcine. Completed beta-tests of the Serene have demonstrated dramatic stabilization improvements.
Flowcine created the Serene arm to work hand in hand with the Easyrig support system. The Serene stabilizes vibrations and motion errors on the vertical axis that come from carrying the camera while walking or running. Another benefit of the system is the stabilization of side-to-side errors from pivoting around the center axis. Easyrig functionality is not compromised and continues to function normally.
The Serene was built to work with the Gravity One and other gimbal rigs. Weighing only 2.6 lb, the Serene can support rigs with a capacity range of 11 lb to 44 lb. This is accomplished using the stainless steel spring that is adjustable on the fly, without tools, using a simple knob. The Serene arm is made of high-grade aluminum and mounting the unit to the Easyrig requires minor modification to the Easyrig arm.
Available from 16x9 Inc., the Serene by Flowcine is now available with an MSRP of $2,995.00.
